WHERE MY CREATIVE WOMEN AT?!
Now come on are there really enough blogs that talk about purpose focused living? I don't think so. Especially being a creative from the Caribbean, you can never attain enough advice on sucking it up and diving head on into this thing called life. And Hey, why not love it on the way in.
LET'S FACE IT
Everyone needs a helping hand from time to time. That person who is rooting for you to take the next step of uplifting your lifestyle. Or just someone that you can relate to. The reality is that life can be a bit overwhelming at times and sometimes just some perspective can help get you into alignment.
I'm Makisa Lockiby, a handbag designer by profession of the JoVew by MAKISA brand and also the founder of THE JOVEW BRAND COMPANY which main purpose is to create a community of dreamers whose key aspiration is to bring their hidden goals into existence through creativity.
I just want to drop some purpose driven living gems into your inbox each week to help your purpose focused lifestyle.
You see, I was living a fearful driven life for quite some time and being an introvert did not help with that. I mean I literally couldn't talk infront of my extroverted family. (We'll get more into that on a later post.) I had huge dreams and major life goals but didn't know how to pursue them because the thought of how someone viewed me was more important than how I viewed myself. TRUST ME, that's definitely not a life to live.
And that's why I decided to start blogging because you need to know that those major goals that you've planned out in your mind, the ones that you probably only revealed to your pet fish, they are attainable.
So whether it be through my posts on how I manage time and deadlines, or feeling good about launching a start-up or just some looking like luxury lifestyle inspo, I'm simply here to support you on your journey to creating that life you love as a creative.
Here's a head's up of the main topics it's based on.
